| Note:Swapping out Transmitter-Sensors in Notion Lite is only possible for Transmitter-Sensors of the same type (e.g. swapping an External Thermistor for an External Thermistor Transmitter-Sensor). |
•To replace a Transmitter-Sensor with a Transmitter-Sensor of a different type, follow the steps outlined in Add a New Transmitter-Sensor to physically install the new Transmitter-Sensor. •Notion Lite it will take up to 2 hours for the base to get a new Transmitter-Sensor list and acquire data for the new Transmitter-Sensor. If you need data straight away, you should remove the backup battery and then power cycle the base. •If you have already reached the maximum number of Transmitter-Sensors allowed when replacing a Transmitter-Sensor with a Transmitter-Sensor of a different type, you should set the 'old' replaced Transmitter-Sensor to Disabled before adding the new one. |
In this scenario we are simply swapping Transmitter-Sensors between storage units. In the example procedure below we are swapping Transmitter-Sensor 1 in freezer A for Transmitter-Sensor 2 in freezer B (and vice versa).
| Note: | The 'old' data from the Transmitter-Sensors in their original locations is kept. |
1.Select Settings>Transmitters to give the Transmitter Configuration table.
2.Select Swap Out for Transmitter-Sensor 1 (freezer A).
3.Make a note of the Product ID in the resulting Swap Out Physical Device page.

10.Click Swap.
•Transmitter Configuration table is redisplayed.
•Device ID code formerly against freezer B is now against freezer A.
11.Select Swap In against freezer B.
12.In the resulting Swap Physical Device page, enter the Product ID code for Transmitter-Sensor 1 in the New Product ID box.
13.Click Swap.
